Accidently Profound
February 22, 2011
When it comes to blogging, I am not very good. I struggle to find things to write about. I thiink the issue is that I am not very observant. There are things going on all around me. The middle east is blowing up, our government is going crazy, we have states going bankrupt and the economy is still in a complete tailspin. Yet, none of those things concern me.
My apathy would drive most people mad but i don't mind. Jesus told us in the sciptures that we don't need to worry. Worry doesn't make us taller or make our hair longer (or bring it back in my case). There is no use for it. I don't remember anyone ever saying to me, "Dude, you should try worrying...it is so awesome!" Worry brings ulcers and anxiety and other things that are often referenced in a negative way by medical professionals. I have managed to survive without it for sometime now, so I probably won't be adopting the practice anytime soon.
Which brings me back to my first issue...BLOGGING! I like it but I want to have something profound to say when I do it. maybe I shouldn't approach it that way. Maybe I should just write stuff and along the way something profound might just slip out. That is probably a better way to approach it. See, that can be considered profound. It is already working!
